Dogs are very welcome in Wöltingerode. There are many things you can do with your four-legged friend in the Harz Mountains. We have put together a few suggestions for you. Whether you are looking for relaxation or simply want to have a program, both are possible in Wöltingerode and the region. Numerous sights and excursion destinations are just as inviting as the extensive and beautiful nature. Enjoy long walks, relax with a drink from our own distillery and feel right at home with your four-legged friend.
With a bit of luck, you will also meet our hotel dog Bodo, the typical beagle who welcomes everyone, whether human or dog. He can usually be found at reception, where he regularly picks up his treats and delights the staff and guests.

Our tip:
Themed hiking trail Hahnenkleer Weg – man and forest
This 9.5 km hiking trail leads through the beautiful landscape of the Oberharz and connects the mountain village of Hahnenklee-Bockswiese and the World Heritage town of Goslar. You will also learn interesting and entertaining facts about the hard-working connection between man and forest.

at 4 p.m. End the day with a Christmas 4-course dinner.
December 24 – Christmas Eve
After a leisurely breakfast, join a special hike at 1pm. Together with André Havemann
explore the monastery hiking trail,
including mulled wine and pretzels for refreshment.
Afterwards, you are cordially invited to attend the 5 p.m. service in our monastery church. An exquisite Christmas buffet awaits you at the end of the festive day.
December 25 – Christmas Day
Start the day with a
rich breakfast before you can look forward to coffee and cake in the Klosterkrug. Enjoy a traditional goose dinner to end the day.
December 26 – departure day
