Approach before KW38 - 2022
Since 2022, the Oker Bridge coming from Vienenburg to the Klosterhotel Wöltingerode is expected to be closed for 1.5 years. Therefore, please use the following detour
coming from Vienenburg:
- Turn left from Goslarer Straße onto Okerstraße
- At the traffic circle take the 1st exit and continue straight on L518
- Drive past the Oker valley and turn right into Immenröder Straßeaße
- At the bypass sign turn right onto L241
- Continue straight ahead until you see signs for Wöltingerode Monastery on the left.
For pedestrians and cyclists, a bypass including a temporary bridge over the river Oker will be built in the immediate vicinity of the construction site!
Detour: From the direction of Braunschweig:
- A36 to Schladen south
- B82 to Weddingen
- From Weddingen on L510 to Klosterhotel Wöltingerode right side
Detour: From direction Dortmund
- A2 direction Hannover until junction Braunschweig Nord then A319
- Triangle Braunschweig Southwest to 39
- 39 to exit freeway junction Braunschweig Süd on A36
- A36 to Schladen south
- B82 to Weddingen
- From Weddingen on L510 to Klosterhotel Wöltingerode right side
Detour: From direction Leipzig/Halle:
- A14 direction Halle until junction Bernburg
- Interchange Bernburg on A36 to interchange Nordharz on 369
- 369 to Gut Radau then on B6
- Immenröder Straße turn right
- At the bypass sign turn right onto highway 241
- Continue straight ahead until you see signs for Wöltingerode Monastery on the left.
Detour: From Hanover:
- A2 direction Hannover until junction Braunschweig Nord then A319
- Triangle Braunschweig Southwest to 39
- 39 to exit freeway junction Braunschweig Süd on A36
- A36 to Schladen south
- B82 to Weddingen
- From Weddingen on L510 to Klosterhotel Wöltingerode right side
Regular directions: From the direction of Braunschweig:
- A36 direction “Goslar
- Exit No.12 “Vienenburg
- B241 direction “Vienenburg”
- Follow the B241 through Vienenburg
- After leaving Vienenburg, cross the Oker bridge,
- then turn right onto the L150 towards Wöltingerode
From the direction of Dortmund/Hanover/Berlin:
- A2 junction “Braunschweig Nord” exit to A391 direction “Goslar
- Junction “Braunschweig Südwest” on A39 direction “Goslar”
- Freeway junction “Braunschweig Süd” to A36 direction “Goslar
- Exit No.12 “Vienenburg
- B241 direction “Vienenburg”
- Follow the B241 through Vienenburg
- After leaving Vienenburg, cross the Oker bridge,
- then turn right onto the L150 towards Wöltingerode
From the direction of Leipzig/Halle:
- A14 direction Magdeburg
- At the Bernburg junction, turn onto the A36 in the direction of “Goslar
- Exit No.12 “Vienenburg
- B241 direction “Vienenburg”
- Follow the B241 through Vienenburg
- After leaving Vienenburg, cross the Oker bridge,
- then turn right onto the L150 towards Wöltingerode
